Important: Clarification on Termicoat® and Its Compliance in the Pre-construction Industry.

Over the past two years, there have been persistent rumours and misinformation regarding Termicoat® and its role in the pre-construction industry. We want to address these false claims, which have primarily come from pest control companies unable to access the Termicoat product.Builders who are aware of Termicoat's advantages  are switching to Termicoat to:

• Save on the additional charges required by pest companies to return on-site and repair damaged systems.
• Eliminate the delays caused by sheeting type systems damaged by other trades or poorly installed systems.
• Avoid potential non-compliance when sheeting systems do NOT protrude through the brick wall as required by the NCC 2022 
• Avoid Private Building Inspectors highliting that the build has become non-compliant by failing to have the pest manager install the sheeting through the brickwork.

These points provide a strong case for builders to adopt the fully compliant Termicoat System.Pest control companies recognize the shifting market, and some have expressed interest in partnering with us. However, due to their questionable practices, we remain committed to maintaining our ethical standards and will not engage with such operators.We understand how concerning these rumors can be—similar to how hearing unfounded rumours about liquidation could cause anxiety, especially considering the recent challenges in the building sector. Rest assured, Termicoat is built on compliance and integrity.Below is a one-page PDF explaining why a Codemark certificate, though optional, is not synonymous with compliance with the NCC 2022 and relevant standards. Codemark certification can only be issued if a product is already fully compliant, making it redundant for products like Termicoat.We hope this clarifies any concerns.
